T : How many days are there in a week ?How many months are there in a year ?How many seasons are there in a year ?

Step、二 Presentation

T : There are four seasons in a year . I like spring , because spring is warm . In spring , the trees and the grass are green , the flowers are beautiful , and the birds are coming .

Teach : spring   warm  

T : I like spring , because it’s warm . Do you like spring ? why ?

Teach : because   why

T : I like sprting , because it’s warm . I can fly a kite .What else can you do in spring ?

Drill : I like … Because … I can …

T : Spring is nice , In spring I can fly a kite . But I like winter best .

Teach : winter   best

T : Winter is cold . I can make snowmen . So I like winter best .

Teach : Which season do you like best ?

T : Which season comes after spring ? It’s summer .

Teach : summer   hot

T : Which season do you like best , spring summer or winter ?

Practice with your partner .

T : After summer , Autumn is coming .

Teach : autumn

T : Autumn is not very hot , and is ot very cold . It’s cool .

T : In autumn we can do many interesting things . What can you do ?

T : There are four seasons in a year . They are spring , summer , autumn and winter . Four seasons they are different . Let’s say a chant about the seasons .

Spring , spring , spring ; it’s warm .

Summer , summer , summer ; it’s hot .

Autumn , autumn ,autumn ; it’s cool .

Winter , winter , winter ; it’s cold .

T : Now let’s play a game . I show you a picture , one student read the new words , the other do the activity . Then make up a dialogue with your partner .

Step、四 Consolidation

T : Let’s do a survey .

T : Now draw a picture about your favourite season then write something about the season .

Step、五 Homework

1 . Copy the new words twice each .

2 . Draw a picture about the season , then say something about it .
