一．教学目标

1.  能听懂、会说、会读单词a doll, a ball, a CD, a car, a robot.

2.  能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语与句型Happy New Year! What’s this/that? It’s … This is for you.

3. 会唱歌曲《Happy New Year》.

二．教学重点难点

重点：句型What’s this/that? It’s….This is for you.

难点：词汇及句型的运用。

三．教学过程

Step1.Greeting

T: Class begins.    Ss: Stand up.

T: Good morning, class.  Ss: Good morning, Miss Liu.

T: Sit down, please.

Step2.Free talk.（利用前几个单元所学句型师生之间进行对话）

Step3.Lead in.

1. Sing a song《Family song》引出Mike’s family以及Uncle John.教师带读，学生跟读。

2. New Year is coming.（鞭炮声）

T: Happy New year! 带读并于学生做互动

T:Uncle John is visiting Mike’s family and takes a lot of presents. What presents does Uncle John take? Let’s watch the cartoon.

Step4. Learn the text.

1. Watch and tick.

 a doll  a ball  a CD  a car  a robot 让学生进行选择，教师出示实物带读新单词。

2.Work in pairs.练习句型What’s this/that?  It’s a …

教师做好示范，学生进行练习。

3.Let’s chant.

4.Play a game. What’s missing?以游戏的形式抛出问题

T: They are all missing. Where are they now? Let’s watch the cartoon again and find out the answer.

5.Watch and match

教学反思：

本单元的教学内容是Unit 9 Happy New Year!要求学生能听懂、会说5个单词a doll，a ball，a robot，a CD, a car.掌握句子Happy New Year!发音准确，并会运用句型Thank you.回答。

　　教授时我通过歌曲《Happy new year!》让学生进入英语学习氛围，利用实物、图片等创设新年的情境，在复习句型What’s this? It’s a…后引出新授的单词。难点是单词的发音，a robot。在教授句型时，我采用了知识迁移的方法，将读音相同的，如New和you，Year 和ear, happy, bag和dad这些学生容易记住单词的读音，既复习了旧知，也让学生有了对音素的初步感知。

　　在复习巩固环节时我利用过新年这一情景，让学生互赠礼物，运用所学单词和句型进行对话：A: This is a … Happy new year! B: Thank you. This is a … Happy new year! A: Thank you.学生可以用任何会用英语表达的物品作为礼物赠送给他人，这样可以起到滚动复习的效果，新旧知识整合，真正让学生将所学运用到实际交际中，而不是按部就班地会说书本上三个单词、两个句子就算完成教学任务了。

　　在教授的同时渗透文化知识，比如在中国元旦和春节都可以用Happy new year!在西方，人们通常在圣诞节和元旦用Happy new year!这就是文化差异现象，既然学习英语，就要让学生融入到英语的文化背景中去学习。
