Step 1 Warming up
1 T:Boys and girls, do you like singing songs? Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s sing colour song together. OK? Ss: OK.
T: Let’s change the colour. OK? Ss: OK. (把歌曲中的yellow,red替换成green,orange,white,black,blue和brown)
2 T: I think you sing very well. Look, here’s a rainbow. What colour is it? Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, cyan and purple. There are four groups. Which group can get red first, you will be the winner. Understand?
3 Look, this is Yang Ling and her mother. Yang Ling is showing her clothes to her mother. Now you are Yang Ling. I’m mother. Let’s act, OK?
What is Yang Ling doing now? She is doing magic. Now you are Yang Ling. I’m students. Let’s act. OK?
Step 2 Presentation
1 T: Yang Ling has many clothes. What clothes do you know?
Ss: coat, sweater, shirt, blouse, dress, hat, T-shirt, skirt, cap, jacket. (一一贴到黑板上,再领着学生读一读。)
2 T: Hello, xxx.
S: Hello, Miss Zhong.
T: Look at my coat/sweater.
S: It’s nice./How nice!/
It’s great./Great!
T: Thank you. What colour is it?
S: It’s red/black.
同桌两人一组,操练对话,请几组同学展示。
3 T:Look at my trousers. Trousers means “裤子”. Read after me. (跟读——开小火车——同桌升降调读——拼读)
T:Look at my trousers. Can you show me your trousers? (在学生展示裤子时,先用学过的赞美语评价,再引出How cool!)
T: What colour are they?
S: Blue.
T: Yes. They are blue.
(教读What colour are they?They are blue. 这里我们为什么不用What colour is it?而用What colour are they?因为裤子有两个裤脚管,它是复数。像我们的手套,是一副的,鞋子是一双的,也要用What colour are they?用They are……来回答。)

4 Now let’s say a chant together. (先复习书上的chant,再任选四件衣服改编chant。)

5 Let’s design clothes for the boy and the girl.
① Look at me first. This is a girl. I need a dress and a pair of shoes. This is a boy. I need a sweater and a pair of trousers. Two students a group, design your clothes. You can draw some pictures on them. Finish it in two minutes. (老师示范设计服装,然后学生动手操作。)
