Alice’s busy day

Spring is coming. The trees turn green and the wind becomes so warm. The sun is shining. I think it rained the day before. It is a sunny day!

Today is Sunday, too. There are a lot of children playing in the park. Alice is in Grade 6 now. Today she doesn’t go to the park. She has lots of homework to do. She is very busy. But her mother says “You can go to the park, Alice.” Then she rides a bike across the street.

Alice is in the park now. She sees many colorful flowers in the grassland. She is very happy, because she can watch insects. She likes bees. There are some bees dancing gracefully in the flowers. Alice walks along the banks of the river. She flies kites with her friends. The kites fly higher and higher. At this time, Alice feels very happy. She also takes many beautiful photographs.

It is five o’clock. Alice is going home.

Alice’s busy day

“What a nice day, my dear! Baby, get up quickly!” “Oh, I’m very tired, I want to sleep. Mum.” But you have a New Concept English lesson at half past eight, you must get up early.” “OK!”

Alice has a bowl of noodles, then her mother takes her to the teacher’s house by car. In class, she sits quietly, listens carefully and reads loudly. She can learn more knowledge about English from her teacher.

After two hours later, she has a Chinese Guzheng lesson. The teacher, Miss Zhou is strict and kind. She can play well. So Alice likes her very much. Now she can play many songs, too.

At one o’clock in the afternoon, Alice goes to the park. There are a lot of insects in it. There are ants, butterflies, fireflies, dragonflies and other interesting insects. She likes ants very much. They are small, but they can carry big things. Butterflies and dragonflies are very beautiful, she likes watching them dance in the flowers. Fireflies are very special. They glow at night. She watches them and puts them in bottles. She thinks insects are her good friends.

After supper, Alice’s parents watch TV in the sitting-room. But she is in the study. She’s not good at Maths. So she must go over the lessons. Before she goes to bed, she reads books. Because she knows “A good book is a good friend”.

This is Alice’s Sunday.

Alice and insects

Alice is a beautiful girl. She has big eyes, long hair and a small mouth. She is busy every day, and she has many things to do.

One day, Alice sees a grasshopper is jumping. She’s very happy. The grasshopper says “My home is a big park, and it’s very interesting.” The grasshopper takes Alice to the park. Wow! There are many insects in the park. There are ants, butterflies, dragonflies, fireflies and other interesting insects in the park. Alice is running here and there. She is happy, the insects are happy, too.

Then, Alice is staying with the insects. She loves the insects, and all the insects love her, too. They are happy forever.

Changzhou is a beautiful city. There are a lot of interesting places. First, we can go to HongMei Park. It’s very beautiful in summer. People usually fly kites on the grass. The trees are tall and green, and the flowers are colourful. We can have a chat under the trees. The birds sing in the trees, we listen to the birds. I think that will be fun. After that, we can go rowing in the river. Then, we will go to the Shuangguifang. There are many Chinese food. They are very delicious. I think you will like the food. After lunch, we can go shopping. Do you know combs are very nice in Chang Zhou? I will buy one for you. I hope you will like it.

Chang Zhou is a beautiful city. We’re going to visit a traditional place---Yanchen Park. Yanchen Park is in Wujin. When you see it, I’m sure you will say “How special the park is!” Because this park shows us an old China. At the centre of the park, I think I’m close to the nature. The warm sun is her eye. The trees are her legs and arms. The birds are singing in the sky, as if the nature is saying some sweet words. You can buy some special things there, such as old coins, pretty fans, nice umbrellas and so on. I think you can know more about old China from the park.

Chang Zhou is an old city. It has a long history. So I’ll take you to go and visit Chang Zhou History Museum first. In the Museum, you will know everything about this city. I think you’ll be interested in this.

Then we’re going to eat different types of foods. There are many delicious food in Chang Zhou, such as Chang Zhou marijuana cake and so on. I think you will like them very much.

At last, we will go to some parks and see many beautiful sights. We can relax and have a chat.

Alice’s weekends

Alice is busy at the weekends but she is happy.

On Saturday morning, she finishes her homework first. After that she cleans her bedroom. It takes her one hour to finish it. She thinks she will do everything she can do. In the afternoon, she often goes to the bookshop .She goes there twice a month. She can read all kinds of books there. Sometimes she can just stand there reading books. But it’s still a wonderful place for her. She loves the first floor. Because there are many magazines、novels and other interesting books. They tell her what is good and what is bad.

On Sundays, she often goes to the park. It’s spring now. The flowers begin to blossom and the trees begin to turn green. So there are many insects in the park. She likes watching the butterflies dance in the flowers. She thinks they’re good dancers. Sometimes she can see some birds singing in the trees. They look so beautiful and free. They’re great singers. She also likes sitting under the tree. She looks at the blue sky. The white clouds are like white sheep. She enjoys the sunshine there.

I’m very glad to be with you when you are in Changzhou. I’m writing to tell you my plan for our “One-day” outing in the summer holiday.

It is your first time to come to Changzhou. Changzhou is a beautiful city. It has lots of colorful history,too. I know you love nature. So I’m going to take you to some parks.

In the morning, we’ll visit Hongmei Park. It is the most famous park in Changzhou. We have to get up early because there’re lots of people in the park if we are late. You are lucky,Mike. During the journey, there’s a flower show in Hongmei Park. Do you like flowers? Well, in the park, we can see enough flowers as more as we can. The heat is getting higher. Don’t worry. We can buy some cool snacks. They won’t cost us much money.

At noon, we will have a picnic beside a lake. We are going to sit under an old tree, listen to the birds sing, watch the flowers’ happy face, feel the winds. I’ll take my carpet with me. I’m gonna take some special food for you. You will be very surprised . They’ll be wonderful. After lunch, we can walk along the lake and row in it. If you sing a lot when you are on the boat. Many flowers and trees will smile to you.

Do you know “ Su Dongpo”? He wrote many famous poems long long ago. You know, the people in Changzhou love him very much. We’ll go and visit Dongpo Park in the afternoon. There’s a lake,too. But different from Hongmei Park, there aren’t many trees and flowers near it. There are some stones and houses. They make the park full of history. You will like it.

However,you can’t know all the history of Changzhou in Dongpo Park. We can go for a walk after dinner. I will take you to a square. It’s very beautiful there in the evening. There’re many colorful lights. Near it, there’s a history museum. The museum will tell you more about the history in Changzhou. You can’t miss the time.

Before you go to bed, I wanna give you a special gift. I can tell you the name of the gift after a while. It looks like a star.

I’m very glad to be with you when you are in Changzhou. I’m writing to tell you my plan for our “One-day Outing” in the summer holiday.

Changzhou is a modern city. It’s not big but very beautiful. There’re a lot of wonderful places in it. I’ll show you around it.

At 8:00 in the morning we will have some beef and noodles for breakfast. Then we’ll go to Hongmei Park by bus. It’s a public park in Changzhou. You can see lots of colourful flowers in it. If you like, we can catch insects or play with animals for two hours there. That is great fun.

At 10:00 we will go to the Changzhou History Museum by BRT. In the museum, you can learn a lot about Chinese history, especially the history of Changzhou. That’s amazing.

At lunchtime I’ll take you to the business center. Shall we taste some delicious Chinese food? I think you’ll like it. And then let’s have a rest for one hour. I’ll learn how to make china at about 2:00. I’m very interested in it. Will you join me?

In the evening my grandma will cook some rice, fish, pork and vegetables for us. She’s the best cook in the world, I think. After that we can take a walk around the river or play with Frisbee in a small park near my house. Which one do you like better? Let’s wait and see.

First, I’ll tell you something about the history of my city. My city has a long history, so it has many historic buildings. The most famous one is called “Tian Ning Temple”. It’s one of the greatest temple in China. This will let you feel amazing. Second, we will visit “Hong Mei Park”. Nearly everyone in Changzhou knows it. It’s a free park, and it opens 24 hours a day. It’s very big and it has many beautiful sight seeings. There are many plants in it too. It’s a good place for you to have a rest. At last, I hope you can have some food, which is very delicious. Then, you will have a look at a kind of special comb. It’s called “Shu Bi”. It has won many prizes including some international prizes. Of course, I will give one to you as a present.

Alice is a beautiful girl. She is very kind, always wearing a sweet smile on her face. Today is Saturday. Alice is not busy. She doesn’t have school today. She goes to the park and watches insects because she likes them very much. There are all kinds of insects in the park.

She loves bees very much. They are very hardworking. They are always busy with gathering honey. It’s very sweet. Alice likes eating honey very much. She likes butterflies, too. They’re very beautiful. Some are black, some are white, some are colourful. They have two wings. Alice often watches them dancing in the flowers. Fireflies are very special. They glow at night. They look like stars in the sky. Alice likes running after the fireflies but she doesn’t catch them. Dragonflies are also her love. Because they are very clever, When it’s going to rain, people can see a lot of dragonflies flying low in the sky.

She is really happy today.

Alice is a pretty girl. She has long golden hair and big blue eyes. Now, she is sleeping in bed and having a nice dream.

In the dream, she comes to another world. There’re lots of trees around her. But Alice seems to be very surprised. She stands there, doesn’t know what to do. Suddenly, she sees some fireflies flying around her. It’s midnight, so the fireflies glow.

With the lamps’ help. She can see a lot of things. All the things are busy working. She sees some ants carrying big things and going home. A bee is sleeping quietly on the flower. Alice feels sleepy now. She sits down under a tree. She looks around. Soon, she feels something touching her hand. “ Oh, it’s a grasshopper.” She says. Then she sees some mushrooms. She bends down and picks up some mushrooms. She puts them in her pocket. It becomes darker and darker. But Alice can see all the things clearly. “Oh, a bird is sleeping on the tree.” “ It’s a nightingale.” She says “Good night! I wish you have a good dream!”

Suddenly, she feels all the things are bright. “ Oh, what a nice dream and what a sunny day.” Alice says. She yawns and goes outside. However, when she puts her hand in her pocket. There are some mushrooms. “What a magic dream!” She thinks.

Alice is a nice and lovely girl. She has long hair and big eyes. She’s very interested in insects especially butterflies. She likes to read stories about butterflies. And she often shows them to her friends. Her friends are happy to listen to her stories. At the weekend she usually spends time in the garden. Sometimes she watches them dancing in the flowers. Sometimes she plays with them. Sometimes she catches and puts them in the bottle. She hopes one day she will be a beautiful butterfly and fly high in the sky.

One day she’s very busy. And she feels so tired. So she goes to bed early. At night she has an interesting dream. In the dream she becomes a butterfly. But she can’t fly. She can’t dance, either. Because she’s in the bottle. She cries, “Let me out. Let me out. I want to fly. I want to dance. ” But who one open the bottle? At the moment the clock is ringing. Oh, it is just a dream. From then on , she never puts any insects in the bottles. Because she knows insects are our good friends.

Alice’s busy weekend

Alice is a little girl, she’s very small but she has a really busy weekend. How does Alice spend her weekend? Let me tell you.

At the weekends, she often catches insects for fun. She likes butterflies, because they’re beautiful. She likes fireflies, because they’re special. They glow at night. She often catches them and put them in bottles as little lamps. She likes dragonflies, because they eat bad insects. She likes ants, because they are hardworkers. She catches insects on Saturday, and she has to look for the insects in trees. She is really busy, because it’s a hard work and it’s very tired. On Sunday, she looks at the insects that had been caught carefully. She keeps them as pets, and write down their habits. She wants to be a scientist when she grew up.

This job is very tired too, but Alice likes it very much. She never kill the little bugs. She let them be free. She works very hard for her dream, I hope her dream will come true one day.

This is Alice’s busy weekend, but insects are our good friend, so we should let them go after catching them..

I’m very glad to be with you when you are in Changzhou. I’m writing to tell you my plan for our “ one-day ” outing in the summer holiday.

We are going to Maoshan Mountain in the morning. It’s in Jintan. It’s very high. There is a temple on the top. We can make wishes in it. We’ll walk in the mountains and have a picnic. In the afternoon we’re going to Tianmu Lake. It’s in Liyang. It’s very beautiful. We can go boating and swimming there. Flying kites by the lake is wonderful. We are planning to visit Chinese Dinosaur Park in the evening. There are different kinds of dinosaurs in it. They’re very lovely. We can learn a lot from it. The lights in the park are colourful. And we can taste some Chinese food there. They are very delicious. What an interesting place it is!

First, I will go to Mao Mountain with you. Because it’s very beautiful. There are many nice flowers in it. We can see many butterflies dancing in the flowers. There are some rivers too. The rivers are clean there. There are many fish. We can go fishing. It will be fun. In the mountain, there are lots of monkeys. They can jump very high. They can also climb trees quickly. My mother says to me:”Many years ago, people were monkeys.” So I think they’re all very clever.

Second, I’m going to visit Jintan Museum with you .There are many old things of China. China has a long history. I love Chinese history very much. I can learn a lot from it. It tells me: It’s never too old to learn. I should study very hard. I can learn more Chinese history and tell you .Do you like Chinese history?
